Bright, Graphic Collars and AccessoriesPosted: February 28, 2014
dievca wears Master’s precious sterling silver locking collar when she is on show in D/s friendly situations and at home when not playing. It is a simple and gorgeous piece that Master had commissioned for His dievca. Depending upon the lock/closure used, dievca can get away with wearing the collar in public, but the collar is not made for heavy play or rough circumstances. (Dreaming of Master’s Collar)
Master has given dievca the freedom to choose His play collars. dievca is to be mindful of Master’s wish for diversity when adding a new play collar, so she is always on the lookout for various styles of good quality collars.
The latest collection of interesting collars comes from Meredith Wendell (click photo above).
Founded in 2008 by designers Meredith and Wendell German, Meredith Wendell is a New York based resort-inspired accessories brand, combining unique color and sporty American style.
dievca is entertained by the idea that she can accessorize her look and have a matching collar. Sadly, there are not any matching leads available.
The bright graphic look has come from the creative influence of Meredith’s childhood. Raised by her father and grandparents in and around the vibrant Dorothy Draper designed interiors of West Virginia’s Greenbrier Hotel, Meredith was exposed to a variety of design aesthetics, personalities and generations.
The aesthetic has been captured through collaborations with photographers Frederike Helwig, Chris Brooks and Daniel McMahon and stylist Beth Fenton, shooting seasonal look-books at The Greenbrier, their apartment and Chapel Beach Club. With the start of her own company, Meredith has drawn on her colorful background, always keeping in mind the value of her family heritage.
With the weather being so gloomy, dievca is looking for Spring and Summer to arrive. she is interested in adding a pop of color to her wardrobe and that includes her D/s accessories. dievca is thinking that the grey leather collar with blue strap and the matching crossbody bag (last photo) might be of interest.
Now if she could just find a gold chain lead…..
