Feeling a Strange Moment coming on ~Fascination with ‘Crystal Delights’

dievca is always looking for diversity to offer Master. Within that mission, she is trying to be open-minded and willing to offer sexy, silly, ugly and beautiful options.

This statement caught her eye during her web wandering for presentation outfits:

Our ethical use statement:

Our real fur tails come from U.S. companies that specialize in the β€œrefuse parts” of animals typically thrown away. We at Crystal Delights do not condone the killing of an animal for its coat and we believe that some day the fur trade will be abolished, and we support that, but until that time, we believe that all parts of the animal should be used and not simply discarded as waste. Crystal Delights donates a portion of tail profits annually to animal charities in continuing support of our company’s charitable missions.

OK — what is the site “Crystal Delights” offering?

Pony plug is hilarious! Why not have a giggle in the bedroom?

  2. Who knew! The colored crystal is actually quite beautiful.

    • dievca says:

I’ve used metal/crystal pieces as a surprise. I agree, the colored glass pieces are lovely and donating to a Cancer charity makes the purchase more alluring.
I just wonder if I have enough panache to carry off something in fur….twitching a tail.
The very direct Playboy Bunny or ‘Foxy Lady’ outfit~

  3. BoPeep says:

Mmmmm the fur plugs my Sir likes and has mentioned before. They certainly qualify as diverse. They are pricey though, even the simple glass ones run north of $100. Perhaps as a special gift.

  4. hispetitelle says:

Oh how bad am I? I went on their site and saw the crystal corkscrew. Yum!

I understand the fascination with these quirky novelties, I do, I do.
But I can’t help feeling a little put off. I used to wear vintage fur using the same type of argument that these guys put forward: better to recycle the coat of an animal that was killed and somehow increase it’s afterlife, almost making myself believe that it hadn’t died for nothing… But eventually I had to admit to myself that while fur is worn, it will continue to be considered glamorous and so the desire for it will continue. I realized I was being hypocritical and donated my 1940s style white rabbit fur to goodwill. Then I had to show a video to one of my classes on fur farms…yikes. My jacket Was so lushly Kate Moss and the warmest thing I ever owned and I felt good in it. But I felt bad as well…
Not trying to guilt trip you, I’m not that kind of PETA warrior, just a personal thing
    How about feathers? πŸ™‚ xo

    • dievca says:

Sorry, people cannot guilt trip me into things.
I’m too solid — I have to sway myself.
Let me explain — my family’s best friends were furriers. That was their livelihood.
Have you ever met a mink? – nastiest animal ever.
Have you seen deer starve in the winter? Saw it all the time in the Midwest — painful.
There are two sides to every coin, so I will not put my ideas onto others.
I will let them figure it out what works for them.
      Hence, the post.
We just know that fur is not for you.

      • dievca says:

PS. There are faux options listed. And you have to consider the chemicals used with faux leather/vinyl processes — almost as bad for the Earth. Everything factory made has challenges. One has to go to ground and make it for themselves to be sure.

  6. jackiemallon says:

As I said, no guilt trip intended. Each to their own. Your post just prompted me to recall my own experience with fur.

Fur is a topic that can seriously divide people. I like Bryan Ferry’s way: “Let’s stick together!”

    • dievca says:

Actually, it is always good to think about your personal stances and it reminded me that I would like to put the friends on my letter writing list.

Wearing linen and cotton today, safer — just listing eBay items. Went to the Buffalo Exchange for the first time to sell low to mid-range items, a positive experience. $70 in pocket for clearing a bag sitting in the apartment. WooHoo!

Hope your apartment/move is doing well.

      • jackiemallon says:

Oh, a-purging we will go! It’s quite freeing in a way, when you get into the headspace. I have so much room in my wardrobe for new stuff πŸ™‚

        Happy Sunday!

  7. Anami Blog says:

Those furry anal plugs look stunning, such a style, however I’m not sure they are user friendly. I mean sex is a juicy business, and fur does not look good wet… πŸ™‚
    Anami, xx

    • dievca says:

I think the real fur ones would be o.k. Fur coats shed water nicely. The faux fur ones might be harder to clean.
(Uhhh-the plug may be replaced with another lovely item belonging to Master, so I don’t think that either of us will be worried about wet fur for very long.)
