A straight line is the shortest route…

Point A to Point B
I find myself going from point A to point B
I don’t look around

What will happen if I do look around
will I loose my place

Or will I learn to live

It all depends on what you need to accopliish. Some actions need complete focus and deviating from your planned route will only prolong Something truly needed. For those times, stay the course, and don’t look to the left or the right. Some situations need perspective during the journey and going off the beaten path every once in a while helps spark creativity and may even get you where you need to go quicker. Why walk when you can fly?

But, sometimes, you get in a mode of always going straight from A to B without thinking or consideration of options because you are on the go. You need something drastic to snap you out of it (or someone to snap you out of it). That’s my job for M. — who will snap me out of it?

  4. Such a thoughtful post and one worth pondering…
For me, I’m learning that the beauty and richness in life is found when exploring…
when leaving room, margin or space to explore, be aware and discover each day ♥

If illustrated in a diagram would a life of exploring and awareness look like the illustration above?

    Hmmmm…you’ve got me thinking…~xo

I’ve been on the go dealing with Life and found myself paring my actions down to the basics. Breathing and taking a look around have been pushed to the side — but the quality of life is becoming very narrow. That was the prompt. I think I need to make a few detours — Elle’s advice is very good, I just have to learn how to make it happen.

  5. Thinking of you, dievca. Stay safe, stay warm. ❤

  6. There should be a ? at the end of the title since this is debatable. Plus one might miss all the fun by being too focused 🙂
Hope you survived the blizzard – the photos we see are amazing! xxx

Ahhh– Thanks, the big storm ended up a nothing. Kids were disappointed. They wanted more snow for sledding.
I wrote this in a heavy A-B mode, since then I have been trying to “lighten up”. XO
