A poor second, but perhaps doable…

dievca ran into this dress and clutch while wandering through the OutNet sale pages and the pieces sold out, but she needs one more Gala outfit for the season.
The OutNet dress and bag prompted her to go digging in her closet to see if she could put something similar together.

Here are the original pieces:
Check out below to see how well she did (or didn’t do…) XO

What dievca was able to pull out her closet:

    • Aiden Mattox Silver Sequin Dress
    • Prada Brocade Bag (without the extra green stone embellishments)
    • J Crew Green Satin Shoes
    • Kendra Scott Drop Earrings

So….how badly did dievca do?  she can still change outfits — the Gala is in April! 🙂

Those are some nice pieces, they could work. X

i think you’ve got a slam dunk! same feeling as the original look. is your dress falling as short as on the model in the picture? xx

    • dievca says:

Thank you Esther! The dress is longer on me than on the model, which I like better. Parcel and Package of being short….sometimes it works in your favor.

  3. Heartafire says:

Love this series, it is very retro, particularly the shoes and handbags, very paisley-ish! thank you.

    • dievca says:

Thank you for stopping by and chatting! Stepping back, the outfit does seem very retro. I was obsessing about the paisley bag and what shoes to wear – that I didn’t stop to imagine where the look was going. XO

You nailed it. Gala evening sparkle and the bag and shoes are a nod to spring. Closet shopping at its finest.
