The Butterfly Effect: Chaos Theory

OK-this is kinda LARGE…

dievca and Master were having a conversation about dievca’s life.  she was stating concerns about how she isn’t doing something GRAND for the Universe.  Her changes to the World are on a micro level, on a personal level.

she watches her Master be so enamored with people who make macro changes in the World. He makes macro changes to the World. dievca was feeling that her contributions to society are so minimal and meaningless. Until Master brought up the point that a small change can take hold and grow into something that changes the World.  And people who often strive for large changes feel like they fail.

In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state.

dievca changes many lives on the micro level, so the odds are that one of her changes will ignite something larger and she can have the joy of the small successes along the way. Right? Plus, Master feels that her contributions are necessary to Life. Now, if she can just keep those positive thoughts in her head, she will apply the Butterfly Effect to her own Life.

As long as you are trying to do good, small changes are just as powerful as large. X

Thank You. I really do change people’s lives, sometimes I forget that changing a single person’s life for the better is HUGE on the micro level.
