Licking wounds…to get by~

Licking Wounds

dievca is not sure what she is doing wrong, but she cannot seem to step right. A wound has been opened. Because she cannot get it together, nor let go, dievca feels really tired and doesn’t want to eat.
(a rare occurrence for a curvy girl~)

You have been here, too, haven’t you?

dievca is trying to remind herself to think positive and keep in mind “… and this too shall pass” because “time heals all wounds”…or does it?
but the tears are close and she needs to pump it up for work, now.
she needs to be “ON”.

So, she found this poem and knows that someone else has been here before her.
Hiding the mess:

The Mask

She smiles, I cry.
She is outgoing, I hide.
She loves, I am apathetic.
She is amazing, I am insignificant.
She is beautiful, I am a mess.
She is happy, I am depressed.
My mask is perfect:
She hides me.

Thank you — this was a little bit ago — but the issues are not resolved and I am still running clumsy. The need to be “on” for work? — it wears.

    Hugs Sweetheart xx Deep breaths

I’m here for you. I wear that mask often. Get the work done and then go to the people with whom you can be you. XOXO

  4. Dana Renee says:

I wear the mask daily. You will be “on” as needed because you have amazing strength … and a loving support system. Love and hugs to you, friend.

Thank you, Dana. You are amazing to wear a Mask daily — it takes great strength and fortitude to do so~ I squeaked through – it is not my natural state, but now I know if I need to do it, I can. No one knew.

  5. I hope that things get resolved for you. It is hard to keep that mask in place for any length of time though we all seem to do it. Hugs to you.

  7. Now I’m even more glad you found some solace (reading your posts backwards again…) 🙂
