dievca found her costume….

barbarella Penthouse blackboxdievca doesn’t usually dress up for Halloween…it’s not her thing.  But, friends have persuaded her to attend a party and she needs to do something or look like an idiot. If you are going to do something — do it well.  So, Hello, Barbarella….now it is just a matter of choosing which look and hitting up her Costume Design friends for help to make it look authentic.  Any suggestions?

Such a fabulous idea for a costume. I would go for the bottom look. Black is easy and leggings are great for a chilly night. It looks like something that wouldn’t be difficult to put together.

I was able to find everything for my daughter’s Rizzo costume. We hit the thrift stores yesterday and found all the pieces new with tags. Score! We even found the pink jacket. I’m going to write Pink Ladies on the back with fabric paint. Her friend is going as Sandy. Perfect!

  3. Some movies are beautifully stupid : ) I especially liked the moment there in the trailer with a man frantically playing the organ and her having something like an o-m. Approved. : )

What a great description — beautifully stupid! I saw the movie years ago as a PYT (Michael Jackson: Pretty Young Thing). If you are in the mood for silly fun….why not? XO

      • Certainly I differentiate, only smart people can make amazing silly fun, only silly people make silly jokes. : ) To each his own. I did like your half-serious thoughts here and the choice of this Barbarella-Barbie costume. : )
