You can sleep until noon and still get eggs anywhere in the city, alcohol is often included with the meal, and Sunday is the one day a week you get the single woman’s sports pages: the New York Times wedding section.’ – SATC
Sunday Brunch in NYC is an Art. It’s a very popular activity. Restaurants are crowded, people wait for tables and then hang out talking about Life. Something that Sex and the City got right.
dievca is no stranger to brunch. Master doesn’t do it very much. Must be a female thing….
The latest brunch dievca went to was at 44 & X HELL’S KITCHEN–northeast corner of Forty-fourth Street and Tenth Avenue. Family and Friends connecting before the Holiday crunch.
The weather was beautiful, so after brunch dievca caught a train to SoHo and wandered around. Ending up at Housing Works Book Shop, she purchased a copy of Andrew Lang’s Olive Fairy Book:
And enjoyed the graffiti across the street:
Sometimes living in the City is stressful and other times it is an absolutely delight!
The leather gloves are a particularly chic but fetishistic choice. X

Thank you — I have two pair of black leather gloves: this pair and a quilted pair with a zipper and “o-ring” pull. Both do the fetish thing in public well. (wink, wink)

With staplers at $145.00, I can only imagine what brunch would cost!
NYC…a fun place to visit. Wouldn’t choose to live there.
I’m cheap that way I guess. 😛

It’s not that bad. Mani/Pedi’s and Chinese food are very inexpensive, rents are through the roof, but remember that most people don’t have cars. You can find fabulous deals shopping for clothing, but the toilet paper prices at your local bodega might do you in. 😉
