The “real” McCoy
Posted: June 29, 2016 | Author: dievca | Filed under: Home and Garden | Tags: BDSM, D/s, decorating, dievca, jewelry box, Life, McCoy, NYC, quartz, Shopping, submissive |18 Commentsdievca saw these boxes years ago in Bergdorf Goodman (Amethyst) and then Anthropologie (multi-colored quartz). she’s been a bit obsessed since. When looking around at for the boxes, again, she ended up at the McCoy Design website and the Kathryn McCoy website….very similar products. Not too sure what happened in that family and which one is the “real” McCoy but she does know family businesses are a challenge. Look — dievca just wants one of the jewelry boxes, no matter who is producing it. Sigh~
Note: Kathryn seems to have the better website and I see her name attached to this stunning Selenite Fireplace Sculpture, 30″ $6700.00 from Bergdorf’s

2nd Note: Looks like the McCoy Design website got a facelift since I wrote this post!

A box that looks more art form then traditional box. Must be very heavy. X

The ones I saw were heavy, that was part of the reason I didn’t buy the one in Anthropolgie — now I am kicking myself. Schlepping things in the City can get tricky.

Very masculine. They have a hematite box, too.

Stick with one specific. Otherwise they look glued together (which they are)
