Growth.
It doesn’t sleep.
A look at where we have been to honor where we are now.

As are other Cities! NYC isn’t as raw as these photos. It’s a bittersweet memory for those who lived through it. M. and Esther (she’s been stopping by less frequently – busy). It’s still fun to watch people.

we lived in Washington DC when I was a child… we took the red eye and spent the day there. my mother, brother, favourite cousin and my very best friend. I got sick on the airplane and spent the entire day throwing up all over New York. Every taxi, very building … everywhere… the photographs are hysterical … everyone looks so happy and there is me … miserable and white and green all at the same time
…
when that awful day happened 15 years ago, we had landed jn corfu … it was the first time poppy met her father. she was 11 months old.
our hearts truly broke for you. xxz
may your day today be peaceful and full of happy memories – don’t let those people steal that amazingly wonderful New York Spirit.

Not to do with NYC – but my Parent’s were reminiscing about a cross country road trip with my brothers (I wasn’t even a gleam in anyone’s eye) and the oldest being carsick…the whole way. What misery. XO

I will never forget that day! my mother bought my brother and cousin a wooden pop gun… the ones with a string attached to a little ball that fits in a round barrel… they were taken away… at rhe airport… even 30 odd years ago… it was tricky as we belonged to the British embassy … a bit embarrassing … I do love memories …

Great post. We are all in constant motion (or we are dying!) Perhaps this is the draw of the city? Live LIFE! xo- Ret
