Bedtime

Mattress: Umm, 15 years….about 5 years too long. And with the cat dying — one side wasn’t being flipped over for the past year.

Per the internet: Most mattresses have a lifespan of between 7 and 10 years, with some lasting longer, and others needing to be replaced sooner. If your mattress is more than 10 years old, it may be time to consider a replacement.

Yeaaahhhhhh~ dievca left it a bit too long.

Could be a portion of her back/body issues — but not the only part. dievca knows what happened. The bed mattress isn’t helping, though.

dievca thinks she loves Master’s mattress.

But is that just odalisquing and endorphins?
No matter, it is a starting point for purchasing a new mattress set.

Unless dievca considers a different type of bed…

Hmmm, seasick in the Rocking Bed and Yin Yang bed. The Grapes, Bristles and Eggs seem to move around, but lumpy. The Knit Bed, Net Bed, Hammock and Enignum Bed would be fabulous for being chained at night or being restrained. Fetal Position doesn’t leave a lot of room and Master wouldn’t want His submissive uncomfortable.

The rest of the beds are pretty conventional in structure.  Except for the Standing Bed.

Better to just get a conventional mattress set for the beautiful Ethan Allen Solid Cherry Bed, dievca has had for a lifetime. Excellent slates for Master’s Play. BTW, Master has Stickley.

Old School Mattress Set: Similar to what dievca has owned all her Life. Same brand as Master, but more firm without the pillow top. Handmade more expensive, it can be flipped, so the natural fibers don’t settle.

So now you know that dievca is a traditionalist….sort of~

A “Thank You” to gosocial.co and diply for the bed suggestions.

What a great job, trying out different styles of bed. X

  2. Agreed, some times it pays to be a traditionalist. Would love to try the first one – very futuristic – and the last, though.
