Time for a check-up (Blog, Life, BDSM)

Time for  a check-up:
(translation = let dievca talk it out)

BLOG:

dievca’s views for the blog have been down, followers is up – she knew she was “hidden” by WordPress, but when she hasn’t been able to read other great posts and keep up with new bloggers — that limits new connections. Add that blog friends have disappeared: Instagram, death (literally for 3 people), new partners, new focuses, new activities, physical illness, mental illness, family, etc. You get it.

It doesn’t matter – Staying consistent and posting daily is one way dievca finds peace and it is the only way dievca can keep the blog rolling. she knows this because when she stopped her photo blog daily after a year — she never went back to it, though she has the photos. Maybe someday…

LIFE:

You know that Master was very ill. You know that His elderly family members have passed and now dievca’s elderly family members are passing. Her parents are in their 80’s. Master was worried about His young family members. Master is working hard, dievca is working hard. dievca sold a house in the Midwest, she is considering to buy a co-op in NYC, her back went out, etc.

Life got in the way of BDSM for a while.

BDSM:

Master and dievca are still playing. But, it’s not as consistent as the beginning of the blog. Life issues, injuries, sickness, etc. that takes a toll.  Add that dievca and Master have become very close – and that gets in the way, sometimes. But after much trial and error, Master and dievca have found ways to signal that the BDSM needs to take over.

And it is needed.
Master and dievca have had their reaffirmation.

The trust creates a connection unlike any other.

So, Doctor…
do I keep the blog?
will Life get easier?
do I work to continue a BDSM relationship with Master?

XO – let dievca know.
And… a HUGE, THANK YOU, for joining her on this ride.

(dievca can be found on Instagram….nah~)

    Life is weird
    This L/lifestyle is weird
    Boys are stupid
    girls are dumb
    It ebs and flows
    Who really knows?
It’s work, it’s fun, there’s only so many ways to bruise a bum.
Keep it going if you want….or don’t.
    The world will keep turning

Ms. Sparkle! XO! I still enjoy putting things together and looking at the weirdness of Life/Fashion/etc. The D/s has driven viewers to the blog, in the past – its just not daily in my Life, right now. So my inspirations are more simple, more subtle. I suspect some other D/s couples experience this, too. It leads me to think about writing a more open blog without D/s, but I’d miss my chance to offer sexual offerings which are so much a part of me. D/s opened the door, I don’t ever want to shut it.

I find the WP platform clunky to use, but I get your daily posts sent to my email and very much look forward to them.
D/s does get more complicated as relationships become more multifaceted but I for one need it as a touchstone if not a daily scene.
Your writing, thoughts and style are all on point and I hope you continue until you feel called to other things! Xo

I could see where WP is not very nimble… I wish I could look where I left off, rather than having to work backwards~ The D/s opened up my eyes and Life — I am grateful, but I am still deciding my future (at such an advanced age!). D/s momentum is gained and lost when people are not on the same page, but still beautiful when the experiences merge (In our case, I suspect the age gap drives things.)

Life still intrudes, but I still enjoy your blog when time permits! 😃 As for Instagram…I don’t know, I’ve considered it too but it’s so restrictive and not in a good way. Plus it’s designed for visuals no so much words. Whatever you choose stay healthy!

  7. I’ll be honest, I’ve little interest in the fashion relayed posts as my raison d’etre ici is sexsexsex. And rest assured, if you keep writing about the rest I’ll not be disappointed. So keep the blog.

I’ve humbly admired your blog and openness to share from afar for some time. I appreciate the beauty in your words and way you portray the way I also choose to live and love in my life. Only you can decide for you 🙂 but my sincerest thanks for being who you Are. xoxo

Thank you for stopping Beautiful! It’s always lovely to hear from viewers and you are very generous with your kind words. I just had a conversation with M. about the blog, yesterday, and we determine that I find peace and joy with it. XO

    OR
    (I’ve been thinking)
Charge a $1 for every visit! See who puts up or leaves.
I’ve always thought (when I had My blog) how great it would be to get paid for writing it!

I was considering writing for a magazine – M. and I had a full discussion about being paid for writing vs. writing for yourself. We determined that it was probably not for me…. (M. was a Journalist at one point).

  10. A check-up is good from time to time… While none of us (here on WP) have any say on your life, I for one would hate to see you go. But, I said it before and I’ll say it again: it’s your blog = your rules. Whatever you decide, we’ll go along! (But please stay) 🙂 xoxoxo

The blog, life, BDSM, everything, is a journey. And sometimes the journey is hard, and sometimes it’s boring, and sometimes it’s good … very, very good. The point is to persevere, to get through those bad patches. Because the very, very good are worth the investment.
