A Babydoll, is a style of women’s clothing or sleepwear resembling that traditionally worn by a doll or young child, A short, high-waisted, short-sleeved dress.

As lingerie, a babydoll is a short nightgown, or negligee intended as nightwear for women. The shorter style is often worn with panties. Babydolls are typically loose-fitting.
