dievca tried to get a COVID-19 antibody test the morning after the riots started in NYC. she walked to three midtown urgent care centers and they were all closed. Apparently, the decision to close was made that morning for workers’ safety – it wasn’t known to dievca at 8 am. Then she drove 2000 miles, roundtrip to her Mother.
dievca was finally was able to get an antibody test last week and play detective when she scheduled an appointment at the NY.gov temporary tent medical center in her neighborhood. On her walk to have blood drawn she ran into some new park artwork:
The COVID-19 antibody test came back negative. That means that her co-worker who ended up with a positive test did not get sick at work, they picked up the virus in Queens.
PS. she’s not planning on kissing the Frog Prince with COVID-19 lurking about~
