An organization’s loss is a dievca’s gain~

It hurts dievca to watch as multiple Stores/Brands close down. Some because of COVID, some using COVID as a cover.  The face of retail is changing rapidly as is Fashion. Can anyone keep up?

That said, dievca made a last visit to the Hudson Yards Neiman Marcus store which had just opened up, last year….
And she was roped into spending some of her stimulus money.
Here’s how:

The original Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the items dievca bought at the Neiman Marcus Hudson Yards Store Closing would have been:

$3590–Burberry Cashmere Hoody Overcoat
$895—Blue Chloé Ruffle Cuff Ribbed Merino Wool Turtleneck Sweater
$890—Brunello Cucinelli braided wrap leather sandals
$280—Lily and Lionel Cashmere/Modal Astrology Scarf
$280—Lily and Lionel Cashmere/Model Colored Paisley Scarf
$260—I.D. Sarrieri Lace Balconette Bra
$125—I.D. Sarrieri Briefs
$6320

These items would have been out of dievca’s reach – but she was able to get them for 24% of the List prices.

$836
$134
$171
$140
$140
$54
$15
$1490

Items that were considered, but did not make it to the cash register:

Does dievca feel guilty?
No, the items were going to go to someone and they are items she will use a great deal. she just feels worried about the economy and making sure all her ducks are in a row.

How are you holding up? Did you purchase any wonderful items with your stimulus money?
