So, let dievca tell you about having floor to ceiling windows: amazing views all the time, plus warmth when the sun is shining.

In the winter, the windows get cold when the sun doesn’t shine, so when one of the HVAC units goes kaput and maintenance needs to order a whole new unit– it gets chilly in the evenings and on poor weather days.
dievca is layering up with clothing and blankets, but she refuses to wear a ‘nose warmer’. dievca will stoop to wearing wool Mukluk Slippers.
Remember those? Wool knit top with a leather patch bottom? dievca’s first pair were from Pier One, then she wore holes in her Aunt’s pair – had them ‘repaired’ with patches of leather and is onto her 3rd pair.
These mukluks are not for Presenting, but they solve the problem of cold feet.
Which comes under the definition ‘something of use’ in dievca’s book.

The Barneys sale (Madison Ave) … is still too expensive for this dievca~
Everything she wanted to buy calculated out around $700 -$800: Tate earrings or a ring. Marni sweater, Manolo Blahnik pumps, Zero Maria Cornejo coat. But nothing special enough to pull the trigger – as dievca’s friend said, “If these Louboutin boots were $450-$500, I would do it”.
So, nothing of use – but at least she got back to the store before it was gone.
dievca moved away from Barneys when they rebranded the Co-op in 2013, ‘sidelined’ Simon Doonan – and seemed like they lost their sense of humor. When they closed the UWS location? Ah, well….no reason to schlep across the City.

dievca was setting up a Presentation Outfit for Master and couldn’t find the correct suspender belt. After 20 minutes of digging without success, she moved on to Presentation Outfit #2.
It was a repeat of a past Outfit, but it channeled the 2019 Summer Solstice!
dievca needed to wear nude stockings for three reasons:
- Master loves stockings
- Stockings allow easy access in a visually pleasing way
- dievca isn’t scheduled to be waxed until next week…..
Outfit Choice #2 was panning out nicely and dievca had some great shoes in mind!

DISASTER!
dievca never took into consideration that wearing stockings in open, strappy, leather sandals would be VERY slippery. she had to move at a shuffling mincing walk to make it back to Master. And when Master led dievca to the bedroom after Cock Worship. He guided her along with the lead at a good clip – she almost took herself and Him down! And the sound effects emitted from dievca’s mouth?
Not elegant, at all~
Master absolutely loved the heels, so they stayed on.

dievca walked a lot in Normandy and Brittany….hiking the cliffs, walking cities, walking to and around Le Mont Saint Michel, D-Day beaches, etc. She didn’t bring hiking shoes because of work and because she thought she would be in Paris. Her tennis shoes did well, but she lost her flip-flops and her feet needed a break.
Her recent purchase of the ILSE JACOBSEN Tulip Shoes ended up being fabulous. dievca had been unsure of the buy, but they completely gave her feet that much-needed break. The soles flexes and gives a soft landing. Great for after a long day of hiking.
