Masculine/Feminine (part one) Memory Lane

dievca started this blog as an outlet for her D/s thoughts and brought in fashion – as an interest because presentation is a large part of Master and dievca’s dynamic. The blog has merged to add essays, thoughts, poetry, lifestyles pieces – but nothing has been offered directly from Master. Until now:

Written by Master:

If you read a summary of Master’s activities on a piece of paper, you might come to certain conclusions. Master is a journalist who has worked as a war correspondent in highly dangerous countries. At various times, he’s been involved with what he calls “the three Ms” – motorcycles, mountain climbing and martial arts.

So his resume might indicate a man with fairly “macho” characteristics – the sort of guy who flexes his muscles at the gym and likes to party with his buddies at a sports bar.

The reality is quite the opposite. Master is calm, soft-spoken and polite. He shows a great deal of courtesy to the people he meets in the city. In addition, he knows a lot about women’s fashion and regularly attends the fashion shows at the Metropolitan Museum.

It’s easy to make conclusions about someone’s masculinity or femininity by certain superficial characteristics. But sexuality for men and women can be a fairly complicated.

This thought stream was prompted from e-mails before Master and dievca met face-to-face.  It was our anniversary and Master sent the e-mail stream as a memory booster.

I’m glad that we didn’t meet immediately.
I feel that I have learned a great deal more about you during the last week.
And, I hope, that you have learned more about me.

Sir,
I’m nervous.
dievča

But that’s good! You should be nervous meeting a possible Dom for the first time. I know this is a major step for you and will respect that.

I’m a fairly intense person. But not loud or vulgar. I always make an effort to be polite. A close friend once said that “***** is an Alpha Male who isn’t macho.” Quite true.

So..the reality is: you’re meeting a calm, polite man at the Club who ahhh…
is also a Dom.

I want this meeting to be a positive experience for you.

What dievca was presented with on that first meeting was a MAN.

Someone who was  Mentally Strong, Confident in His Sexuality, Capable in Life and Crisis, and Responsible.

All wrapped in velvet, which made the iron fist so desirable.

And created the feeling of TRUST immediately.

 A positive experience, indeed!
dievca searched for a photo of a well-known person to personify Master. Everyone she came up with didn’t toe the line with Master’s qualities…so she finally just asked Master to suggest someone He thought might personify a MAN who was a GENTLEMAN.
He offered two suggestions:
Paul Newman Venice Water Taxi Omar Sharif April 10, 1932

And she couldn’t resist this beautiful photo:

Omar Sharif with grandson, Omar Sharif Jr.

So what about dievca? Where does she fit on the sexuality “spectrum?”

My Master, the Gentleman Dom — Nary a Wrong Step in Burberry

From dievca:
Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather. ~John Ruskin
Mr. Ruskin did not have to walk the city today…
From your drowned rat.
Master’s Reply:
I’m wearing a Burberry trench coat. If I saw you I would open the coat, pull you in and surround you with Your Master’s warmth…
