No one can tell me,
Nobody knows,
Where the wind comes from,
Where the wind goes.
It’s flying from somewhere
As fast as it can,
I couldn’t keep up with it,
Not if I ran.
But if I stopped holding
The string of my kite,
It would blow with the wind
For a day and a night.
And then when I found it,
Wherever it blew,
I should know that the wind
Had been going there too.
So then I could tell them
Where the wind goes…

“This Ponderous, Man. really Ponderous”
Seven and a half years later and she is still pondering her Life:
- Does she look for a new job?
- Does she get a 3rd graduate degree and change careers?
- Does she write a Children’s Book? (an inside joke on dievca)
- Does she move from NYC?
- Does she stay put?
- Will she get cancer? (Her brother is going through Chemo for a stage 2 form)
- Shouldn’t she be connecting with her cousins more?
Master stated that when you lose both of your Parents, you lose an anchor to your family – you are now “truly” an adult. dievca sees it as the two people who loved her just because she existed and were behind her in any situation good or bad are gone. The guaranteed love safety net is gone.
It’s taken 6 months for that to hit home….
Time to buy a new pair of shoes (note the survivalist theme and Midwestern moment):

“The Blast tracked down Jeffrey Yarber, the artist behind the piece, who tells us the ‘photograph’ is one of thousands of celebrity fantasy artworks he has digitally created and sold over the years. In other words, he created the photo, it isn’t an actual bottomless Grace Kelly photo shoot.
(Kim Kardashian shared a ‘topless’ Marilyn Monroe photo created by Yarber.) Kim’s hardly the first to share the Marilyn portrait, and Kardashian is so art savvy that she probably knew it wasn’t genuine, but tons of people thought it was legit.
As for the faux photo, Yarber says, ‘Fakes is a genre, I, and about four other fellows, originated. My artworks are marketed around the world, and are offered in just about every medium there is.’
Yarber tells us people — including respected galleries — often mistake his prints for originals, but he doesn’t like to correct them, adamant that his pieces are ‘virtually real, depicting the actual subjects in actual settings, without flaw.’”
What do you think?
dievca can’t decide if she is offended by the “Fakes” genre or humored. It’s something that is making her go, “Hmmm”. So, she is going to use the song to get her moving this morning.
