At Reformation, fashion and sustainability coexist. Created in 2009 by Yael Aflalo, we design and manufacture limited-edition collections in our own factory. Located in downtown Los Angeles, we manufacture most of our products in our own sustainable sewing factory. By cutting out the middleman and selling online and in our own boutiques, we eliminate traditional retail markups. We source sustainable fabrics and vintage garments, and incorporate sustainable practices throughout our supply chain to make beautiful styles at a fraction of the environmental impact generated by most fashion brands. From our heat-reflecting roof and use of renewable energy, to the recycled hangers in our stores and 100% recycled packaging for every order shipped, sustainability is core to our business at every level. It is our goal to raise awareness around the impact fashion has on the environment and at the same time offer sustainable solutions and choices. It is our mission to lead and inspire a sustainable way to be fashionable.
A new lease of life for tattoos
Etched into our skin for thousands of years, tattoos have become artistic as well as aesthetic. A phenomenon that has broken all the boundaries of fashion.
For a long time, tattoos conjured up the tribal images of ancient cultures and exotic peoples, with enormous symbols covering the arms, backs and torsos of Polynesian, Maori and Japanese people, for example. And rightly so: for centuries, tattoos represented a rite of passage, symbols of protection or a sign of belonging to a particular clan or tribe.
Until the trend took off again around 1990 to 2000. From the shower of tiny stars on the back of Rihanna’s neck to the giant words and patterns on David Beckham’s body, these permanent markings have become extremely fashionable. The Musée du Quai Branly in Paris hosted an exhibition on tattoos in 2015.
As a way to stand out from the crowd or express your personality, tattoos have become like a second skin. They can be proudly shown off, or reserved for only the most intimate views.

Feeling the presentation
(of a remark, opinion, or idea) overused and consequently of little import; lacking originality or freshness.
dievca ended up in a Mall after that Beach Memorial Mass. There wasn’t much creativity offered from any of the retailers (H&M, Aritzia, Uniqlo, Lululemon, Brooks Brothers, Zara, Kate Spade, Coach, Muji, Sephora).
dievca was bored – though Banana Republic offered this ramie peasant top dress in green. Something with pockets and short is always welcome to dievca’s closet. she was befuddled by the sizing in the stores – sometimes she needed a large, other times a small…strange.
Note: An Honorable Mention award should be given to the H&M LemLem collaboration’s Lyocell-blend Kaftan Dress. The dress is sold out online and dievca didn’t get to try it on (H&M is not allowing people to use the dressing rooms) and the line to purchase items was very long. she got out of there fast~
Has anyone else had a Mall experience? Maybe something more exciting and successful than dievca’s ride?
What Is the Difference Between Style and Fashion? There is an overlap between style and fashion, but a good rule of thumb is that style relates to the individual, while fashion is more collective.
Why is dievca pondering this difference?
she wants to determine the ratio of classic clothing vs. fads she needs in her closet to look unique.
she doesn’t want a uniform, but she doesn’t want too keep ten million pieces, either.
The Marie Kondo credo doesn’t make dievca feel comfortable – but the ’30 use’ rule seems to apply better.
Will you use an item approximately 30 times in your Life? If yes, keep it.
Is that enough to create dievca’s style using Whering? Probably.
Have you been presenting for your Sir/Madame in heels?
Or did your style shift with COVID-19?
dievca did present in heels during the past year.
But, she hasn’t thought about buying new heels in a long time.
A quick look around the web didn’t offer anything to trip dievca’s interest.
she may have to go back to 2019 and find these Rupert Sanderson Pumps.
Or Boys – if they are in the mood.
A little décor for the push forward to Vaccineland.

Call on Julian Snelling – the creator of ROSEBUDS in 2002. He developed this extraordinary jewels. The master has left us, and unimaginative vultures have been quick to take over his work; but like all copies, they are only similar in appearance… It is a true jewel that sublimates this intimate part of the body that is the anus. Decorated with a crystal Swarovsky™ or a bronze sculpture, made in France, it gives incomparable pleasure to both men and women…
Available at Coco de Mer – UK and Brigade Mondaine – France.
dievca kept hiding the large ugly bottle of Fish Oil pills in her cupboard,
taking a pill once a week…maybe.
That’s not an effective way to ingest a Fish Oil supplement.
It needs to be taken 3 times a day with meals.
Changing containers and leaving the pills on the countertop has made a world of difference.
Much more elegant, much more apt to work.
Something of use!
Omega-3s contribute to normal brain and eye development. They fight inflammation and may help prevent heart disease and a decline in brain function.
As fish oil contains a lot of omega-3s, those at risk of these disorders can benefit from taking it.
However, eating whole foods is almost always better than taking supplements, and eating two portions of oily fish per week can provide you with enough omega-3s.
In fact, fish is as effective as fish oil — if not more so — at preventing many diseases.
That said, fish oil supplements are a good alternative if you don’t eat a lot of fish.

So, dievca ended up picking the Oscar de la Renta dress and was planning to wear Proenza Schouler heels with a gray clutch.
When doing a last try-on with the proper Spanx underpinnings, dievca managed to put her thumb through a seam and she doesn’t have turquoise thread to fix it. Plus, the heels – any heels, were killing her knee.
So, back to the drawing board with flats in mind.
And this is why dievca always surprises Master with her outfits…she is a Disaster.
Warm and Fuzzy for the Autumn.

the state of being diverse; variety.“there was much diversity in the style of the reports”
Master has made statements about diversity to dievca in the past. He hasn’t mentioned it lately, but that might be because dievca works hard to create an atmosphere that offers diversity. And, in return, Master has made sure the venues, restaurants, activities are diverse, too. So, between presentation outfits, activities, themes, cosplay, etc.
Master and dievca are keeping on it.
Variety is the Spice of Life!
But like the photo says — diversity does make for some strange bedfellows and creates situations for dievca and Master to laugh at when things go south.

Paint It Black
No colors anymore, I want them to turn black
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes
I see people turn their heads and quickly look away
Like a newborn baby it just happens ev’ryday
Maybe then I’ll fade away and not have to face the facts
It’s not easy facing up when your whole world is black
I could not foresee this thing happening to you
If I look hard enough into the setting sun
My love will laugh with me before the morning comes
No colors anymore I want them to turn black
I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goesI want to see your face painted black, black as night, black as coal
I want to see the sun blotted out from the sky.
I want to see it painted, painted, painted, painted black, yea
