(at least dievca’s Raincoats have been useful and cute)
dievca’s had two umbrella’s go wonky this Spring and has used Master’s gift, but she needs another large umbrella for guests. One of the brands she is looking at is the San Francisco Umbrella Company
Currently on sale for $29.95 with free shipping – looks like a good wet weather solution.
The best thing one can do when it’s raining is to let it rain.

The Black and Orange are work horses, used over top other coats on the bike.
The Gold is for Summer.
The Brown is lined in wool and is for Autumn.
The Green is for Spring.
So how do we finagle an explanation to add another raincoat to the collection?
Do you have only one raincoat? or two or six? XO
It started early,
it crossed continents,
it kept going,
I’m not sure if it ended.
I do know,
that I’m not the only one having a day.
Let’s try this again, folks.
(rotten weather, lost business, immigration issues, knee ligament pulling, raging headache, burning eyes, missed sleep, no Master, lost wallet…and the list goes on)
At 12:00 Noon.
It was coming down pretty heavy.
Parade started at 1:00 pm – rain or shine.
Apparently Mermaids don’t melt.
At 4:00 pm?
A Saturday, late in February.
High of 61 F (16 C), sunny — while dievca worked all day.
As she rode home, the clouds rolled in.
The wind was rattling the front door to the apartment, so dievca closed the windows – even through the clean, crisp smell was lovely.
Torrential down pour, with sideways sheets of rain.
Text to Master:
“When the bathroom window is cracked open
and you are getting spritzed on the toilet…
you know it’s a wild, wonderful storm!”
Apparently, dievca missed one window and got a little wet, while her Master got drenched in the storm.
Addendum 03/08/2017 — leaving for work at 5:45 am, the doorman said it was just drizzling…sideways squalls, having to walk the bike two avenues west because of the wind and ending up completely drenched at work 20 minutes later….dievca isn’t feeling too fond of wild wonderful storms….
Humidity so thick you could cut it
Heat Index running in the red
Out of the shower and soaked in sweat
It’s a doozy of a day.
There is a breeze, it doesn’t do much
If we were at the beach it would be lovely
A set of clouds roll in.
The temperature doesn’t drop with the clouds hiding the sun.
But, it happens
A Summer Heat shower
The Heat Advisory is cut
The Air Quality Alert drops
For just a moment
Then the relentless heat builds, again
