The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.

The Harvest Moon appears this evening. dievca attempted to get a slice of it this morning on Governor’s Island. She still needs a larger lens – but the process of watching the Moon Set in 46 F (7.77C) wearing down slippers, polar fleece pants and a cashmere turtle neck was worth it. We have an amazing planet.
