Good American Wide Leg Faux Leather Pants
dievca has gotten many compliments and much use out of her Good American Faux Leather Wide Leg Pants. They are slippery and do run warm (faux leather doesn’t breath), so you need to be aware of when and where to wear them.
dievca’s success prompted her to keep an eye on an expensive faux leather dress from Proenza Schouler White Label – original price $650. The dress is sleeveless, has a full two-way zipper, drawstring waist and is currently on sale – $280 at ShopBop, but dievca was able to price match with Saks 5th Avenue for $185.
It was non-returnable, so dievca was nervous – but it has turned out to be lovely and something different – she’ll be wearing it with boots and a hat for Master this weekend to attend Fresh, Fly and Fabulous at FIT.
A moment with New Jersey

dievca runs to New Jersey every couple of months to hit Wal-Mart for staples (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) Her early morning trip is taking place after a long weekend of work – she survived.

Dreaming back to a gentle moment in NYC because…
after getting off the plane in the Midwest, I was off to the races!
- Urgent Care immediately upon arrival for Mom (non-emergency, something that needs to be watched)
- Feeding Tube Prep, Meds grinding/dilution (My brother needed a weekend off)
- Heard some stories 4 times already (no clue he told me = short-term memory wipe. Told well)
- Apparently my Father imposed on some Friends who have relatives in from the Czech Republic, he insisted on them bringing them over. Ages 10-17 with their Mother, ummm, at 9 am. Yeah, Dad gets up at 9.
- No food to offer them, 10 pm grocery run.
- Music band playing until midnight across the lake, an accordion involved.
- Serious Thunder Boomers at 2 am, spectacular, loud, scary and a tree went down in the yard.
- Having coffee before we are off to the races!
