Did you know that the Brussels Airport workers went on strike last week?

Didn’t really make the news in the USA, huh?
Sorta made the news in Europe.

A little.
Made big news for dievca when it caused her to miss her flight — and she had to buy another ticket home. Some good came out of it, she got to stay with a friend on the Amsterdam Canals — there was fantastic weather in the Nederlands. Beer, wine, Indonesian Food, sunsets and good company tends to ease the pain a bit.
But the cheapest flight took her on a wild ride and she fell into bed after missing a lot of sleep. dievca would like to think that she looked like Audrey — but she really doubts it.

If it’s not the baggage handlers, it’s the controllers. If not the controllers, the police guards. If not the guards, the terrorists. Pfff welcome to Brussels!

Ahh – just the plane was coming from there (or not coming)…but my friend’s daughter had a brilliant time in Brussels the weekend after~does that count towards something good? XO
