How much!? Where the price is concerned, more is more.

I think the fur sold out at that original price, along with some of the sweaters/jumpers. When the sales hit, the sweaters sold out — now, just the pants are left at $500+.
      More is more. πŸ˜‰
When I saw this originally — I was just astounded by the price (hence, the post) XO

I wrote the post ages ago and keep putting it later and later in my queue….that meant I had to keep checking the link to see if BG was still selling the items. The mink disappeared and the sweater was there before Thanksgiving but gone now, hence the guess about the sales…

no, no…just change the color! it’s a great look…how about soft pearl gray? or yummy caramel? there’s so many cashmere blends available you can make this happen on the cheap…and faux fur! πŸ™‚ xxx

Back in the day….I had two outfits from Benetton with knit pants and turtleneck sweater — in fine wool. One in brown and one that was beige. Patterned sweaters to match, too. I didn’t wear the beige much, but I did wear the brown. Cashmere in another color would be lovely. Charcoal Grey?

The cashmere pants sound really comfy, but charcoal grey would be more to my liking.

I always look at the pants and think “comfort and cozy” — Dark colors would be more forgiving of flaws, but lighter colored cashmere is often softer.

Really? I never made that comparison before. Now I need to go to the store and feel all the cashmere. I’ll be the crazy lady touching everything, but not buying anything. I’ll tell them I’m doing research.

Good brands don’t do it, but lesser brands do. Dark colors hide the shorter hairs which create stiffness. Longer hairs=softer.

I love the colour scheme, but the price is just a “little” too much. I would never pay $995 for sweatpants, even if made out of unicorn hair! Anami, xx

I agree! You know, that’s how the unicons became extinct. Ancient man just had to have their unicorn sweatpants.

No, sweatpants. It’s a little known fact that the Greeks originally wore unicorn sweatpants in the Olympics. There were breeding issues because we all know that unicorns require fairy dust to reproduce (heard that on My Little Pony, or some shit) and there was a fairy strike so the poor unicorn became extinct. The Greeks then decided to go naked for the Games to protest the fairy strike. Too little, too late.

Forgive me. I’ve been.in spreadsheet land all day.

No — I needed to know a little more history about the Unicorn. It seems that I am deficient in that area. (Sent you an e-mail). πŸ˜€

There is a lady who takes my sweaters with holes and makes mittens out of them….I didn’t think about it until she said, “You always give me cashmere sweaters, and a lot of black…”
      Ahhhh— good point.
